trying to calculate the final page count is tricky. The best I can do is calculate a ratio to generate a projected page total... for example, in my layouts, I am working on a page that is on page 55:120. which in my book is page 81:X... X=177.. so as you can see, this book appears to be growing bigger than the 150 pages I had projected previously. Only time will tell how accurate this projection is.
